How do I remove Unite Theme Powered by Word Press in the footer

Hi everyone,
I cannot remove the text “Unite Theme Powered by WordPress” in the footer. I have searched the support forum and tried several of the answers to no avail. Could someone please walk me through the process?

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the help. I figured out where to put the code snippet. Customize>Unite Options>Other. It works but it removes all Copyright notices. My Client wants to have the copyright in the footer but eliminate the “Unite Theme Powered by Word Press” text.

How to I enable the copyright notice for the client and delete the “Unite Theme Powered by Word Press” text.

Go in Appeareance -> Customize-> Unite Options ->Footer-> And in footer information type your required info.

You can edit the text in the footer via Appearance > Theme Options > Unite Options > Footer and change the text there.
