When do you plan to upload it online? without seeing website i cant provide custom css for you 
The site won’t ever be public online, it’s strictly an intranet. The issue is completely related to the boxes shown as the homepage is mostly demo content from the theme right now, no setting have been changed. I’m assuming I just need some CSS to add padding underneath the text.
try this css in appearance > customize > additional css:
.ewf-like-h6 {
height: 60px;
}
