Extra White Space

Hi-

How do I delete the extra white space that is between the grey horizontal bar and top of the login box.

When I inspect the page, it has the line of code <p>_</p>. If I delete this line it temporary moves the box up to the correct position. But the problem is when I log in to the backend of WordPress, this line is not in the code for the page.

What do I need to do to remove the extra space?
