I tried to use the bounty theme for my site, but an error pops up while uploading it to the site as the style.css file is missing and the theme installation fails.
There was no forum for Bounty theme. So, posting here. Kindly help.

Style.css file is required in WordPress, probably you are uploading HTML templates into the WordPress themes, this is the place where you will get such error, please note HTML templates can not be used in WordPress ?

Okay. Then can you clarify whether Bounty is wordpress or html theme?

Its an HTML template, that’s why you cant install it in Wordpress, it’s impossible to install HTML template in the WordPress
